Background

Our Group Chairman & Founder holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree, from Henley University (UK) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree, from Thames Valley University (UK). The Chairman, has held various Executive roles in Mega-Multinational Vendors like IBM, ORACLE, DELL and most recently was a Managing Director: Sub-Saharan Africa at a German Open-Source giant, SUSE Software. Given his keen interest in diversified businesses, he formed Inguni Holdings in January 2019 and serves on multiple boards and advisory councils.

The South Africa Freight and Logistics Market is segmented by Function (Freight Transport, Freight Forwarding, Warehousing, Value-added Services and Others) and End User (Manufacturing, Automotive, Oil, Gas, Mining, Quarrying, Agriculture, Fishing, Forestry, Construction, Distributive Trade, Healthcare Pharmaceutical, and Other End Users). This is the Haul Trucks and Transportation entity of Inguni Holdings focusing on transportation of Aggregates for JSE Listed giants, Afrimat in KwaZulu Natal. Additionally, this component of the business works at the Springlake Colliery, Kangra Coal Mine, Future Coal Chelmsford Colliery, Ballengeich Coal Mine and Ikwezi Coal Mine to transport coal.

Infrastructure Development

Infrastructure development strives to address the broad requirement for global economies to improve their efficiencies. As a result, infrastructure development is a critical component of delivering long-term value to the communities in which Inguni Holdings operate. Inguni Holdings owns shareholding equity on Coefficiency Pty Ltd, which is a company that provides an online marketplace platform that enables sourcing of construction materials from a centralised location, in a secure cost-effective manner with access to credit through our alternative financing partners in order to improve contractor project cash flows.

Mining and Exploration

The mining industry in South Africa continues to be a crucial pillar of the nation’s economy, plays a crucial role in the industrialization of the continent and is a significant driver of job growth. As such, it is a primary area of investment concentration for Inguni Holdings. It's high-quality and broad range of mineral assets, established mining infrastructure and solid talent base make the industry a prime candidate for investment. The sector is distinguished by a strong blend of mature and green fields activities. Inguni Holdings has interests in exploration equipment as well as core coal mining in KwaZulu Natal and Mpumalanga, varying from coal prospecting, exploration, mining and trading.

Property

The property market is an important investment industry, for Inguni Holdings. We seek property investments that are critical to our business operations and offer value to enterprises in which we have a stake. Inguni Holdings, currently has various long estate rental investments and interest in this segment.

Oil and Gas

Oil and natural gas are generated from decaying plant and animal remnants, that have been buried beneath layers of the ground and subjected to heat and pressure over millions of years. For decades, these two forms of fossil fuels have been the world’s principal energy sources. They have permitted advancements in quality of life and in all sectors of the economy, from domestic lighting, cooking, heating to transportation and industrial manufacture. However, the low-carbon transition has put pressure on the oil and gas industries, as these fuels are two of the largest emitters of greenhouse gases. The industry is involved with environmental calamities such as oil spills and the prices of the two fuels - particularly oil - are highly volatile, with swings directly affecting the industry. Nonetheless, over 100 countries produce oil and natural gas, the two fuels are projected to remain important in the energy market for many decades to come. Inguni Holdings, is in partnership with Petro Connect to pursue retail projects in the petroleum sector.

Inguni Holdings interests in this sector has seen the inception of Alcazar Digital Solutions Africa Group, which has various reseller partnerships with the likes of IBM, ORACLE, VMware, DELL, SUSE, VOX and LTIMindtree. We will continue to invest in IT enterprises, that are at the forefront of the Technology evolution.
